Yard art pictures taken in Fayetteville, West Virginia.  We walked down the road in search of yard art our latest assignment from kyle our photo teacher.  It was morning so the light was good the only thing we had to worry about were angry West Virginians.
I like this photo this photo because of the dew on top of the object, and the deep shadows.

The student logistics trip.  Brian Boyle and i started planning the trip a few days before we left.  We decided we wanted to head south down the coast of Chile toward the island of Chileo.  We needed a teacher to go so we asked Kyle Dinnel if he would like to come along.  We left all are options open so we could change our plans at a moments notice.  The main purpose of this trip was to take pictures and see some of the country.  We decided to head all the way to Chileo on the first day and work are way back up north.  We started driving to the coast, and stopped in Valdivia to check out the local fish market.  There we saw some awesome sea lions.

We left after about an hour of taking photos, and buying smoked salmon.  We kept driving south trying to get to Chileo as early as we could.  We stopped a few times to take pictures, but other then that the drive was all but uneventful. We got to the ferry that takes you across to the island.  And luckily enough it showed up right when we got there  because all we new was the name of the ferry and not the times that it left.  We drove about half way down the island to a little town called Chonchi. We got there at sunset, after finding a place to stay, Brian and I went and took some pictures on the beach.

The next day we started to explore the island.  We headed down the coast taking all the side roads so we could to see if there was anything interesting down them.  Making it down most of the coast we  ate  some food at a  little shop.  than began are journey back up the coast.  Kyle suggested that we should hire a fishing boat to take us out to see the coast.  So Brian and I went to the harbor to try and find someone.  You can imagine how hard it is to try and find a random boat to take you out, now try doing it in broken spanish.  Eventually we found a guy and agreed on a price.  The next day we woke up early to catch the morning light.

The fisherman started heading south along the coast.  We did not know were we weir going but we were happy to have pulled off this trip.  He brought us down a ways and then we saw our destination.
Hundreds of sea lions resting on the rocks.  It was fantastic.  After taking alot of pictures we started heading back.

We stayed one more night in Chonchi.  Then headed up to Ancud and stayed in a little town near there.  After spending the night in a awesome hostel on the coast.  We began the long drive back to Pucon.  We checked out a little surf town called mehuin.  but there was not  much surf.  We go back to Pucon that evening around 6 or so.  Over all the trip was awesome.  The whole time it seemed that luck was on our side and everything worked out perfectly.  We did not know exactly what we were going to do at the beginning and are only expectation was to have fun.  The Trip could not have been better.
